A Path to Personal Growth and Wellness

About Me

Hi, I’m Jessica Blair (she/her), a registered social worker and licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s emotional, psychological, and social challenges. I work with adults ready to take meaningful steps toward clarity, connection, and lasting change.

I’ve spent my career walking alongside people from all walks of life, helping them navigate the complexities of mental health with warmth, honesty, and care. Whether you're facing overwhelming emotions, seeking deeper self-understanding, or working through trauma, I offer a space where your full experience is met with compassion and respect.

What to Expect

From the very first session, my focus is on creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. Think of our time together as a collaboration — not just between therapist and client, but between two humans, working side by side.

You can expect honesty, curiosity, and steady support as we explore what matters most to you. I bring both structure and flexibility to the work we do, balancing practical tools with deep emotional understanding. Whether we’re building skills or unpacking something tender, I’ll be right there with you — not as an expert above you, but as someone you can trust to walk with you, every step of the way.

My Approach

I bring my whole self into everything I do. The way we, together, engage in your healing journey is shaped not only by professional training, but by my own lived and learned experiences as well. I believe one of my deepest responsibilities is to use my skills in service of the communities that reflect and resonate with my spirit. I am especially passionate about holding space for the rich intersectionality of identities and experiences—offering affirming, inclusive care to women, LGBTQIA+ and the rich tapestry of the ever-evolving orientation and identity expansions, and people of all racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. This work is rooted in a deep commitment to community care, healing justice, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, safe, and supported on their path to healing.

This is done by offer a holistic, dynamic, and person-centred approach to therapy, grounded in evidence-based practices and guided by the belief that healing happens when we honour the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

My work is rooted in:

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Trauma-informed, mindfulness-based practices

  • Quantum change and holistic wellness philosophies

  • Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and other integrative models

I’m currently pursuing formal certifications in both DBT (through the Linehan Institute) and IFS, which strengthens my commitment to delivering high-quality, effective care tailored to your needs.
